I am interested in things anecdotal, haphazard, poetic, awkward, remembered, piled, masked, personified, disturbed, repeated and horizontal. I’m fascinated by the shirts people wear and I also like hand puppets and skeet shooting.

Born in Indianapolis in 1969, and raised in St. Louis and Detroit, Galidan Nauber graduated with honors from the Art Center College of Design in 1993 and has lived and worked in the city of Los Angeles since. Primarily a painter and photographer, Galidan's recent work has focused on more poetic and beautifully simple pictures that will always compliment your couch. Galidan lives in the Silverlake district of LA with his wife, daughter and their dog Jelly Beans.
