Born in Indianapolis in 1969, and raised in St. Louis and Detroit, Galidan Nauber graduated with honors from the Art Center College of Design in 1993. He currently lives and works in the Silver Lake district of Los Angeles. Primarily a painter and photographer, his recent work has focused on poetic and delightfully simple pictures that will always compliment your couch. Galidan is interested in things anecdotal, haphazard, poetic, awkward, remembered, piled, masked, personified, disturbed, repeated and horizontal. He's fascinated by the shirts people wear and also likes hand puppets, balloon animals, skeet shooting and bacon.
